BBQ Bedlam 2022

Spotty rain couldn't dampen the spirits or fires of our teams and all those that attended were rewarded with some amazing food and down to the wire competition. 

Congratulations to our 2022 BBQ Bedlam Grand Champions, Team NEP! It was an incredibly competitive field with some of the most creative and delicious turn ins I've ever seen. And no team did it better than Craig, Greg, Chris, and Kevin. Well done gents! Congrats to Eric and Gator Pit BBQ for winning the Best Tailgate Award!

Most importantly, WE RAISED $2,500 for Youth Development Organization in Lawrence Massachusetts!!! How did we do it? We sold tickets to 200+ amazing BBQ lovers of New England. We had a "name your price" BBQ gear yard sale that raised $700. Team Limp Brisket sold BBQ sauce and sent every purchase toward the cause. A couple teams couldn't make it due to last minute circumstances. They refused to take a refund. Kathy Trainor earned a free ticket as an all female team - and then donated $350 to the cause. 

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the BBQ community is the most generous, kind, amazing group of people. That's why we put this event on.
